The same court sentenced the artist Hisham Abdulla to three years in prison, accusing him of publishing false news and disturbing public peace.

The prosecution referred the accused in case no. 9608 to 2016, that the actor Hisham Abdullah and the announcer on the channel «Watan», which is broadcast from the state of Turkey, in a program called «Ibn Balad», to trial on charges of publishing false news, aimed at destabilizing and disturbing the public peace , And has repeatedly insulted the Egyptian regime on several occasions.
